46 Teachers need to have good English (foreign language) skills to be able to easily learn and operate the various digital solutions themselves, as many of the terms are in English (LV future teacher 23) you know being good, communication and being really good listener and being always observant of whatever area you're gonna pursue… it doesn't have to be this digital skill or like its literacy or whatever. (IE P26) Besides the interpersonal soft skills creativity and innovation was conveyed as an important skill particularly with regard to technology and engaging children. It was mentioned that many educators are good at acquiring knowledge around technology but not using it creatively and so perhaps this is a skill that is lacking Creative thinking, according to the interviewee, will be a stumbling block in the future, because children are not allowed to be "bored", there is a phone in front of their eyes, so creative thinking is weakened. As a result, artificial intelligence will start to create "works of art", not human beings. (LV future teachers 7 years) Keep creative and keep being innovative when it comes to technology with kids. Because they're so far ahead of us, the technology you have to keep it new and fresh, or else they don't engage with as much. (IE P2) Due to the increased of digital skills, teachers, I suppose. (IE P4) From a practical perspective leaders spoke about the need to be digitally financially literate, this is different to financial literacy as digital technologies can have different financing models, for example software might have subscriptions, licenses or seats. In addition due to the digital divide being aware of purchasing models to ensure equitable access to technology is critical because when I was able to say like I was able to bring up finance and I was able to get money approved for that project.
