63 For the interviews where partners are oversubscribed after random sampling it is recommended that purposive sampling should be used. It is recommended that each partner aims to recruit a sample size of the below participants • 10-15 Inservice teachers – early years, primary and second level with range of demographic data as per appendix 1 • 10-15 Inservice teachers – early years, primary and second level • 5-10 Educational Leaders – early years, primary and second level Interviews should be recorded via MS Teams or a Dictaphone (and files uploaded to MS Teams) Microsoft Teams can then generate a transcript for the recordings to enable analysis. Analysis guidelines are available in the Work package Methodologies on the respective Work package Folders on MS Teams. If you wish you can email a list of questions to participants prior to the interview. Note all participants need to sign a consent sheet prior to the interview Questions: Pre-service and Inservice teachers Demographic data – Type of School (early years, primary/secondary) Role, School location, Years’ experience, Category of school (see appendix 1) Beliefs and broader context 1. Tell us about your journey into the teaching profession? Probing questions: Previous jobs and studies, teaching experience and training done since Initial Teacher Training. 2. What are your beliefs about technology in education and the digital challenges the education sector will face into the future? 3. What are your experiences in leading digital transformation/innovation in schools? Probing questions: Have you lead any initiatives/have you been on a team that has introduced innovative practices/ what worked, what did not- Why? If you could do it again, what would you change. Prompts, how do you ensure everyone is included, what challenges you face, what are the barriers? Are there any policies, how are student voice included. Pedagogy 5.
