The first transnational meeting of the IDEAL Project took place in Limerick, Ireland, in September 2023. Organised and hosted by our coordinating organisation, Mary Immaculate College (MIC), this two-day meeting marked the official launch of the project.

During the sessions, we had the opportunity to define the project's lines of action, agree on a general timeline and calendar, and set the next steps for the coming months.

It was also the first time we met in person as a consortium, allowing us to get to know each partner organisation, learn about their main activities, visions, missions, and the values that each brings to the project.

The agenda was structured around the project's nine work packages, each of which was presented and discussed in detail to ensure a shared understanding of their objectives and approach. This helped us to identify priorities, define key tasks, and assign responsibilities among the partners.

We also set up a clear timetable with deadlines for each work package, establishing a strong foundation for collaborative and coordinated work moving forward.

Before our next in-person meeting—scheduled for April 2024 in Riga, Latvia, and hosted by the University of Latvia—we agreed to hold monthly online meetings via Zoom to ensure ongoing communication and progress tracking.
