The second transnational meeting of the IDEAL Project took place in Riga, Latvia, in April 2024. Representatives from each partner organisation attended in person, with at least one delegate per partner present, and one organisation joining the meeting online.

This meeting provided a valuable opportunity to share insights into the educational contexts of each participating country. Partners presented national realities and findings based on interviews conducted with key stakeholders: educational leaders, in-service teachers, and trainee teachers. These interviews helped identify the specific needs and challenges faced by each group.

During the sessions, the project partners also presented the preliminary results of the interviews, highlighting the main findings and drawing comparisons across countries.

After fruitful discussions on these results and planning the next steps for the project, participants had the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of the University of Latvia, a social dinner, and a pleasant walk through the city of Riga — fostering both collaboration and cultural exchange.
