The IDEAL Futures project implemented three launch events in Latvia, Ireland and Spain, reaching 125 participants in total.

In Latvia, the University of Latvia organised the face-to-face project launch and technology teachers’ conference “Education Technology Day” on 21 October 2024 for 71 participants; it introduced the project and included presentations, discussions and practical activities on generative AI, virtual reality and educational robotics. 

In Ireland, an online launch event entitled “IDEAL Future: Digital Learning Communities to Support Leaders and Teachers as Change Agents” was delivered through the Educational Leadership Network Europe in February 2024 for 44 participants, focusing on teacher agency, professional learning communities, collaborative problem-solving and educational change. 

In Spain, Fundación Siglo22 organised the “IDEAL Futures Roadshow” project launch on 13 November 2024 for 10 participants, presenting the project and introducing opportunities for further engagement with its activities.
