1. Project Management and co-ordination

1st Work Package

This work package ensures that the project meets its objectives, as outlined in the proposal, and is implemented within the planned budget and schedule. It ensures open and transparent communication between the partners for the effective achievement of the project objectives.

2. Identification of the key challenges regarding digital educational leadership

2nd Work Package

This work package explores the challenges facing educational leaders in the digital age. A report is produced to inform policy makers and the wider education community. These challenges are captured in scenarios, which are hosted in the digital hub to support professional development activities, in particular cross-institutional ones.

4. Development of learning content and learning activities

4th Work Package

This work package develops open educational content, and learning activities to support participants in the IDEAL Future teacher academy to develop skills in digital educational leadership. It develops a variety of digital, face-to-face and hybrid learning activities – these are designed to align to the pedagogical model outlined in WP3 and support learning at the individual level (through reflection), school level (through communities of inquiry) and inter-institutional level (though design- based research and transformative dialogue).

5. Development of a collaborative and reflective digital hub

5th Work Package

This work package develops a digital hub to host the learning content, activities and challenging scenarios. Learners are engaged with reflective and collaborative activities and content aimed at supporting them to develop evidence-based solutions to the digital education challenges they face.

6. Piloting and Evaluation

6th Work Package

This work package pilots the pedagogical model (WP3), learning content and activities (WP4) and digital hub (WP5). Participants of the teaching academy are engaged with a series of activities via the hub, study visits, face-to-face and streamed workshops. Learners receive micro-credentials for engaging with various activities in the teacher academy. Data have been collected to evaluate the impact of the suite of outputs on learners’ digital educational leadership skills and their ability to transform practice, culture, curricula and policy at individual, school and inter- institutional levels.

8. Dissemination

8th Work Package

This work package developS and maintainS a series of channels – Digital, face-to- face, hybrid and paper-based to ensure that the impact of the IDEAL Future Teacher Academy reaches the broadest possible number of stakeholders and provides a significant impact to all it reaches.

9. Quality

9th Work Package

This work package ensures that the project outputs meet the needs of all stakeholders and that project objectives are reached to the highest possible standard. Each WP output reviewed by a steering group and user group to ensure it meets both expert and user requirements.
