4th Work Package
This work package develops open educational content, and learning activities to support participants in the IDEAL Future teacher academy to develop skills in digital educational leadership. It develops a variety of digital, face-to-face and hybrid learning activities – these are designed to align to the pedagogical model outlined in WP3 and support learning at the individual level (through reflection), school level (through communities of inquiry) and inter-institutional level (though design- based research and transformative dialogue).
Development of learning activities and content
The objective of this work package is to create a range of professional development (PD) content, activities and associated micro-credentials to implement the pedagogical model.
Thess support educators across all levels of education to foster skills in digital educational leadership, including formal Open Educational Resources, Synchronous Workshops, Hackathons, Peer Observations, Transformative Learning Projects and Design-Based Research Activities. The lead partner has detailed a curriculum specification and accreditation model to recognise formal and informal learning through micro-credentials. All partners have been responsible for creating, collating and editing content in a variety of modes, in line with UDL principles. They've also developed the associated learning activities to support transformative dialogue and design-based research.
