8th Work Package

This work package developS and maintainS a series of channels – Digital, face-to- face, hybrid and paper-based to ensure that the impact of the IDEAL Future Teacher Academy reaches the broadest possible number of stakeholders and provides a significant impact to all it reaches.

 

Dissemination

The objective of this work package is to promote and disseminate the IDEAL Futures teacher academy outputs throughout Europe.

The purpose of this work package is to ensure that the work of the IDEAL Futures teaching academic reaches the widest possible target group internationally both during and after the project lifecycle. This will ensure that the project maximises its impact amongst pre-service and in-service teachers; ITE and PD providers; policy makers and the educational community internationally.

This is done through multiple media:

  • Electronic – website, social media and email circulation of newsletter, reports and project outputs to a distribution list of community organisations, ITE providers, PD providers, political bodies, policy makers and HEIs. The development of personas on digital education challenges, case studies of how the outputs can be integrated into programmes and multimedia outputs (including solutions to common digital education problems) to support a broad audience to engage with the project outputs.

  • Paper – distribution of posters, rollups and brochures at events. For the public audience and pre-service and in-service teachers as well as ITE providers and PD providers the publication of advertisements in educational magazines such as INTO, IPPN etc. For academic audiences, the publishing of conference papers, journal papers and book chapters.

  • Face-to-face – A formal launch event hve been held in an online format the 30th of September 2023 – at this event the project website have been launched together with the challenges educators are facing in a digital era, the challenge based scenarios and the systematic literature review on transformative approaches to professional development through the use of digital technologies. Discussion-based workshops were held to discuss the outputs and implications for practice. Partners also regularly attend national and international conferences, teacher education events and programme open nights. Hosting of a 5-day hackathon as an information exchange opportunity. The delivery of a workshop to 4 ITE providers and 4 PD providers to explore how to integrate the IDEAL Futures outputs into new and existing curricula and programmes. Each partner will host several face to face workshops as part of their delivery provision of learning content and learning activities. These events will be open to IDEAL Futures participants and the broader public. In addition, each partner has been allocated a budget to attend two networking events through the course of the project.
  • Synchronous live events – all face-to-face events are also streamed; furthermore, additional learning activities have been hosted in a live format to facilitate information exchange and knowledge sharing.
